I loved this print when I
saw it advertised one time. I knew when I saw the counted cross
stitch kit, that it was a must have. I ditched the Aida cloth that
came
in the kit and replaced it with a 28 ct Antique White Linen.
I spent hours sorting the floss. I finally was ready to start at
the end
of September 1998. Why is it still a WIP? I hate working on this
piece. The chart is in color and is impossibly small. The floss
is not DMC or Anchor and is not as smooth to handle. It is a huge
piece
and requires
32" long scroll frame bars. It is full of half stitches, quarter stitches,
three quarter stitches, and whole stitches.
I will finish it one day because every time we have visitors who are interested
in my cross stitch pieces, Scott pulls it out and asks, "When are you going to
finish this one? I think this one is really neat." Don't worry, I will finish
it, but don't count on it being anytime soon!
